| Wordplay has created a unique and
exciting teacher-designed Language Arts material: Wordplay Activity Workshops. These ready-made Reading Centers contain hands-on, manipulative
reading activities that challenge students to employ higher level thinking
skills as they practice reading in a variety of fun and different ways.
There are three sets of Workshops:
Both series include seven boxes containing five activity packets each - enough for 35 students to work individually during the same period. Each boxed Activity Workshop consists of five individually packaged, self-correcting, manipulative reading activities. Everything is included to easily allow students to work individually, with a partner or in sub-groups. All Wordplay materials are beautifully illustrated in bright colors, fully laminated, and specially coded to allow for easy clan-up and storage. Primarily developed to be used as a whole-class activity for Elementary School students, Wordplay Activity Workshops can easily be adapted for programs. Wordplay Activity Workshops can easily be adapted for special needss, resource room, enrichment, or second language programs. Wordplay proudly offers this complementary material as an innovative response to needs expressed throughout the educational community. |
